This grant is for organizations interested in operating a public health AmeriCorps program in Kansas. This grant does NOT require any matching funds. Applicants must request a minimum of three Member Service Years (MSY). Due date: Friday, December 5, 2022.

The AmeriCorps Public Health Grant has two main goals:

  • Help meet the public health needs of local communities by providing needed capacity and support in state and local public health settings and advancing more equitable health outcomes for communities who are currently or historically underserved.  
  • Provide pathways to good, quality public health-related careers by providing exposure through onsite experience, training, and more, focusing on recruiting AmeriCorps members who reflect the communities in which they will serve.
