The Mentor Kansas Partnership Program is a no-cost opportunity available to all mentoring programs in Kansas. It provides incentives to programs as they move up the partnership levels. Each partnership level requires a higher commitment to safety standards and the Elements of Effective Practice for Mentoring.

Here is an overview of the Mentor Kansas Partnership Program process :

  • All youth mentoring programs in Kansas are invited to complete the Partnership Program application.
  • Mentor Kansas staff will review the application against the rubric and will assign a partnership level to the mentoring program.
  • There are three partnership levels: bronze, silver, and gold
  • Programs that want to move to a higher partnership level can request support from Mentor Kansas

Beginning in September 2023, mentoring programs in Kansas MUST participate in the Partnership Program in order to be listed in the Mentor Kansas Program Directory OR apply for the Mentor Kansas funding opportunities.
